removeAttr( name )

Remove an attribute from each of the matched elements.
Arguments:
nameString
The name of the property to remove.
Examples:

Clicking the button enables the input next to it.

    $("button").click(function () {
      $(this).next().removeAttr("disabled")
             .focus()
             .val("editable now");
    });
