Neo4j Wiki から
Neo4j is a good fit for a number of spatial techniques.
- It is fully possible to implement spatial indexing algorithms such as Hilbert Curves, QuadTrees, GeoHashes etc, as described in Ricks blog
- Among the projects doing this, the Amanzi Wireless Explorer (AWE) is operating directly on the Neo4j graph, video available here, employing a number of different indexing techniques.
In 2010 Neo4j launched a project to prototype more extensive support for spatial data, including storage, indexing, spatial operations and I/O. See the Neo4j Spatial page for more information.
